Carbon Control Software
|
|
Carbon Control Software is committed to assisting the reduction of global
carbon emissions from computer use. We create software solutions that
enable organisations to reduce their IT power consumption and as a result,
their carbon footprint without impacting productivity or resorting to carbon
offsetting. Reducing energy usage also brings the additional benefit of
providing significant cost savings.
The company was created in response to the real need to control rising
carbon emissions from IT equipment. Gartner estimates that the global ICT
industry accounts for approximately two percent of the world’s CO²
emissions. With PC usage expected to double in the next five years, the
environmental impact cannot be underestimated.
At its core, Carbon Control Software has a dedicated and talented team of
software engineers who have the programming experience and ability to
provide an innovative approach to satisfying organisations varying needs
through management software. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland the company
is widely recognised as a significant contributor to the field of energy
conservation and CO² reduction.
